IcE-CooN Buyers Guideline

This buyers guideline might not be apply to other cattery but is a policy by IcE-CooN. We recommended all buyers or anyone who intrested to buy our cat to read our Policy and answer some of the question that we prepare here in order to be easier for us to communication and assist you in getting a Maine Coon.

The IcE Policy

Terms & Condition from IcE-CooN Cattery :-

• Most of IcE-CooN cat are sold as neuter, we don't sell ENTIRE cat/kitten to any breeders, unless is recommeded/refer & approval by Felis Wonder Maine Coon or Enko Cattery or others that we are comfortable with. Please do not enquire about ENTIRE cat

• IcE-CooN will OnLY Sell our cats to owner where we are comfortable that we believe could take care of our cat/kitten. As we will screen thru our buyers before decided to selling our cats. Buyers ONLY allow to view the Kitten/cats ,after we have screen thru and agree to sell. Sometimes IcE-CooN will represent inbehalf of Enko Cattery to screen thru buyers from local.

• IcE-CooN offer both SHOW Quality & Pet Quality kitten/cat and we guaranteed kitten/cat that sold as SHOW QUALITY cat is a show cat,but do not guarantee winning & show status in adulthood. Kitten/Cat will only be available in our website, when we have go thru a completed evaluation,and as well as proper screening.

• IcE-Coon is a Closed cattery,Which means we do not offer outside stud service. There are just less germs shared between catteries this way, and we feel it's healthiest for our cats. We will only work with few of our Trusted Partners.

• All our cats are register with CFA and the CFA ownership cert is provided, and no cat/kitten are sold without any registrations, and with at least a 2 vacination together with microchip. Kitten are only ready to go to new home minimum at the age of 4 months.

• IcE-CooN guarantees that the our cattery is FeLV/FIV negative, that this kitten is presently free of disease, and that our kitten/cat will be accepted for a full refund of purchase price (excluding Transportation) if returned within the next 72 Hours with a veterinarian's certificate that our kitten/cat has a health problem. IcE-CooN warrants that our kitten/Cat is genetically sound, and will replace our kitten/Cat with another at no additional cost(except for Transportation if nessarry) if the kitten/cat ever dies of a genetic defect and that said defect is evidenced in a necropsy report presented to the us.This includes HCM (Hip Disorder)up to 5 years of age. The total liability of the IcE-CooN shall not exceed the purchase price of the kitten/cat. Giving Feline Leukemia vaccine, FIP vaccines may result in guarantee being void. These vaccines are more risk than help to indoor only cats in low risk situations.

• Owners of cats/kitten from IcE-CooN are PROHIBIT to Transfer/Leased/Give or resell our cats to any breeders,petshops,individual ,company,animal shelter, research laboratory or similar facility. If the Owner cannot keep our kitten/cat for any reason, the Owner MUST return the cat to IcE-CooN with ZERO COST and we will decide to find a way to rehome the way we think is suitable.

• All IcE-CooN cats are strictly indoor cat, and we expect the owners treat our cat the same way. The new Owner require to provide companionship for the kitten/cat, never leaving it alone for long periods of time without human attention. The Buyer agrees never to allow this kitten/cat outdoors unless leashed and accompanied by a responsible person to supervise its freedom for its health and safety. If this kitten/cat is allowed outdoors all heath guarantees are null and void.

• All IcE-CooN cats are raise with a strict diet with minimum or premium cat food brand and with around 25% wet food and 75% dry food diet for adult, and 50% wet food and 50% dry food diet for kittens. Beside our cats kitten do enjoy some home cook food or raw meat weekly or sometimes daily basis and we expected the new owner try to provide the level of diet for our cats with their own ability.

• Our cats/kittens are price base on overall quality of the cat itself according to CFA show standard, not base on the Color Preference,Size or Age. All the cat will be evaluate base on our judgement prior before allow the buyers to be view of the cat,all cost of transportation and additional request like E.g : 5 Generation Pedigree, HCM test and etc are to be bear by the new owner.

• The new Owners must agrees never to breed our kitten and to have it altered prior to reaching 8 months of age unless is agree by IcE-CooN our self. We recommend altering between 6-7 months of age. A certificate of spaying signed by your vet is required. Once we receive the certificate we will send buyer the kitten's registration papers.

• The new Owner must agrees never to de-claw our kitten/cats, and understands that de-clawing is a mutilation and a cruelty that is likely to alter the kitten's/cat's temperament and health. Guarantee is void if kitten/cat is de-clawed

• Our Cats are show in most of the CFA show available in our country in order to chase for title or to socialize our cat when they are kitten, and we hope that new owner of our show cats continue to show them according to their ability. We have rights to hold our show cat from going into the new owner home are in the middle of pursuing title for the cat.

• Term & Condition could be change without prior notice if you are not a existing owner of IcE-CooN CAT.

Questions from IcE....

Do do have any cats now? IF yes have you tested your cat for FELV & FIV? Have they been neutered/spayed? If not, why not?

E.g: Currently I own 2 Maine Coon Neuter boys and 2 other domestic cat and they are all tested and free from FELV & FIV.

Do you have any other pets now? Please specific the species & breed.

Have you ever owned a Maine Coon Cat before? If Yes please stated the cattery.

E.g : Yes, I got my 1st and all my Maine Coon from Felis Wonder Cattery

What made you decide Maine Coon was the breed for you?

Are you interested in a kitten or young cat? Male or female?

What type of personality are you looking for in a Maine Coon? Playful? Quiet? Lapcat?

E.g : I would prefer a playful cat that can play with my kids, and involve in our daily activity.

Who will be responsible for the primary care taker of this maine coon?
